He asked me to marry him on top of a mountain in May 2009. We had a strict budget of $6,000, a guest list of 80 people, no wedding planner, and only 3 months until the day we'd marry each other. What came out of that was a more beautiful day than I could have hoped for, surrounded with tons of family and friends who helped make it possible, and an overwhelming, overflowing amount of love. I married the man I'd loved since the summer when I was 18, and that's what made the day so absolutely perfect. We married, we danced, we toasted, and we loved.

We just recently got engaged and your wedding is basically the same concept we have in mind. We are having our wedding beside a pond on top of a mountain and we are going to have a ceremony just like yours. I got some great ideas on here! Thank you so much and you had a gorgeous wedding! Congrats!

gorgeous! i love weddings with little budgets WAY MORE than grandiose, formal affairs. cute, sweet, simple, and full of love and hard work!
