When I saw this example via A.Mountain.Bride, I knew this was an idea I had to steal. We had our good friend who was visiting us pay for his stay with his amazing skills. We bought his art supplies and two days later he came up with this:
Which by the end of the wedding night was this:

We used some quality art paper, india ink, a simple wood frame without glass, and Memento fade-resistant dye ink in their Dew Drop collection. People signed their names (or in some cases drew fishing poles) with a fine tip sharpie. Everyone walked around the rest of the night with green thumbs. That's a good thing, right?Best investment ever. Thanks amazing artistic friend.

I love this and am totally going to steal it! Thanks for the idea!
Gotta love my brother for that fishing pole...by the way, I think that's the greenest my thumb has ever been!
I am doing this for my wedding in a few weeks! We are getting married in the White Mountains of NH and when I saw this on A Mountain Bride I totally knew we had to do it. I can't wait to have this wedding treasure to hang in my home!
I showed my whole family last night all your pictures and the wedding tree and we are totally doing it now for my April wedding!! Thanks so much for the great ideas! Your wedding pics are so beautiful!!
I love this and will so be stealing it. It's the perfect guest book idea. Thank you.
I don't feel bad stealing this idea now that I know you did too! Absolutely beautiful and brilliant. I can't wait.
I just found your site through Offbeat Bride and have been completely inspired. My fiance, Brian and I are getting married in five months and we want our wedding to be personal, intimate and about our love for each other and each person sharing our day. I feel really disconnected from the wedding mags and big sites so this breathe of fresh air is very welcome.
Thank you and congratulations!
