My life lately.

A quick glimpse into why my blog has been neglected:

•Shot a wedding in Ocracoke Island last month. Awesome trip. Now editing, so much editing.
•Enjoyed a visit from the in-laws, looking forward to the parents coming next (in a week!).
•Trying to balance my responsibilities at the tour site and working, working, working.....
•Discovering that the unbearable pain that's in my neck is actually shingles. Spend the next week curled up on my couch on all kinds of drugs. Sleeping more than I thought was possible. Hating my life.
•Watching the leaves change from my window. Dying to get up on the course. Feeling left out.
•Redoing my photography blog and adding a facebook and twitter account. Please follow me so I can get really excited about it.
•Watching my dog discover "marking" and thinking it's really funny. Then watching my dog mark, and mark, and mark... everything.
•Helping plan my sister's wedding... that Sarah Neal will shoot... on New Years Eve... in Ouray, Colorado!
•Being thankful for having a guy who will put up with my whining and fussing when I don't feel good, and who will force feed me and still tell me I'm beautiful when I'm curled up in a blanket in yesterdays pajamas and greasy hair.

*Note: This would be where I put a picture of the amazing leaves since it's full blown FALL out here... but since I'm still on my couch 95% of the time, I'll post these instead. I thought I'd have some bonding time swimming at the beach with my dog, but he showed me otherwise. It was mainly just a game called, "run away from the big scary waves and get Cori soaking wet". He eventually enjoyed himself. The awesome part: I've never seen such a tired puppy dog by the end of the day.
